About Us
Marty and Jennifer married in August of 2004 after dating for
2 years. We got married in Las Vegas as the Excalibur hotel. It was a beautiful ceremony. Things were a little crazy, but all in all
things were great. After we returned home from our trip and were getting settled back into our normal routine in Octobor we found out we were expecting
our first child. One month later on Nov 7 we found out not only were we expecting number 1, but also number 2. God had blessed us
with twins. The pregnancy was perfect. Jennifer had very little morning sickness and felt great. On Janurary 26, 2005 we found out we were expecting
2 girls! We were very excited. We had names picked out for both boys and girls. We choose Ashlee May and MaKenzie Paige. At about 28 weeks
Jennifer started experiencing some symptoms of pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH). Her blood pressure shot through the roof. At one point is was so high
that she amazed the Drs that she was not having seziures. Jennifer was admitted to the hosptial for bedrest on April 9, 2005 at 28 1/2 weeks. After 4 days of
hospital bedrest it was determined that the babies were no longer thriving the way they should in the womb and the dr decided it was time for our precious
girls to be born. On April 12, 2005 at 7:44 Ashlee was born, and at 7:45pm MaKenzie was born. To read more about them, take a look at their profiles.
Once the girls got a little older and hit about a year old we talked about adding another member to our family. We really couldn't make a decision on if we
were ready or not. This discussion went on for about 7 months and God decided for us it was time to expand our little family. At the end of September we found
out we were expecting again. This time Jennifer had morning sickness from before she took the test until 16 weeks. Thanksgiving and Christmas were not fun
for her this year. Jennifer would have bet money she was having a boy because the pregnancy was so different. On Janurary 16 we found out we were expecting
another princess. Poor Marty is now very out numbered. At 22 weeks Jennifer's blood pressure started going up again and the Dr put her on b/p meds. Those did the
trick. Jennifer made it to 37 1/2 weeks before her PIH and pre-eclampsia showed up enough to concern the Drs. Sara Beth was born on May 23, 2007 at 2:17 pm. To read more

Marty and Jennifer could not be happier together. We will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary in August. We've had our ups and downs but in the end we always
relize that God is with us and that as long as we lean on Him, and put our marriage and trust in Him, He will always get us through the storms.
